Rejestruje czarno-białe obrazy o wysokiej rozdzielczości i z bogatą gradacją, pozwalając użytkownikom wykorzystać wszystkie swoje zmysły i wyobraźnię podczas robienia zdjęć, do wyrażenia magii światła i kontrastów.

Przetwornik obrazu CMOS do fotografii monochromatycznej
Aby zoptymalizować jakość obrazów, aparat jest wyposażony w monochromatyczny przetwornik obrazu CMOS w formacie APS-C bez filtra AA (antyaliasingowego) o efektywnej rozdzielczości około 25,73 megapiksela. Typowe kolorowe czujniki obrazu są zaprojektowane do odbierania światła przechodzącego przez filtry koloru czerwonego (R), zielonego (G) i niebieskiego (B), więc każdy piksel wykrywa tylko jeden składnik danych koloru.
